Wedgetail Project Consulting operates across New South Wales from four offices: our main office in Bennetts Green, Newcastle, and regional teams covering the Central West, Southern Tablelands and South Coast. We work across ecological assessment, development approvals and biodiversity stewardship, from flora and fauna surveys through to stewardship agreements.
Our Offices
Wedgetail ecologists bring more than accreditation to a site. Each office is staffed by people with direct, working knowledge of the flora and fauna specific to that region, built up over years surveying the same landscapes.

Wedgetail has worked on state significant developments and stewardship sites in every region it covers, from quarry and renewables projects in the Hunter to grazing country stewardship agreements in the Central West.
Case Study: Tilt Renewables
Tilt Renewables needed to meet biodiversity offset obligations on two New South Wales wind farms. Wedgetail built a strategy around new biodiversity stewardship sites resulting in more than 8,290 hectares permanently protected, and a saving of more than $10 million compared to a direct payment into the Biodiversity Conservation Fund.
